Nairobi National Park
1 Day Safari
Nairobi National Park
Nairobi National park is located just 7kms from Nairobi's city Centre, it's the perfect place for a half-day or full day excursion from the Kenyan capital. This is one of the only places on earth where you can be on safari with skyscrapers as part of your backdrop. Perfect option for those limited on time or wanting to combine their visit with a trip to one of Kenya's other attractions.
Best time to visit: Wildlife viewing is at its finest in the dry season, when animals can easily be seen around water sources. The best months are from June to September, although it is possible to visit Nairobi National Park any time. Wildlife watching is usually more difficult during the long rains (March to May) and the short rains (November to December). During these months, rainfall might restrict game drives and the grass tends to be very tall.
Wildlife to see: There are animals that include buffalo, giraffe, lion, leopard, baboon, zebra, wildebeest, cheetah and 100 mammal species. There are also 400 migratory and endemic bird species.
